Welcome to our Spanish weeks May 15th - June 18th, at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. Sous Chef Marc Castillo Batalla has chosen his absolute favorite dishes from his home country of Spain. Marc has his roots in the Catalonian capital of Barcelona and therefore, there is some emphasis on food from this region, but also Andalucia and other parts of Spain is represented in our carefully selected menu.

On the menu you will find Tuna Escabeche and Marc's very own twist of Seafood Paella. Instead of rice, Marc’s seafood paella offers pasta that has been roasted in the oven, giving the dish a very unique and tasty character. On the dessert menu you will find a real Catalan classic, Crema Catalana!

- During our Spanish weeks I would like our guests to have the opportunity to experience a real authentic Crema Catalana, just as it is served in the homes all around Spain", says Marc.

Marc Castillo Batalla

With roots in Barcelona

Marc has been working with us at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel for two years. Prior to that he worked in a number of distinguished restaurants in his hometown of Barcelona. Spanish food is very close to his heart and it has been a real challenge to choose only a few dishes from a country that has so much to offer and such a rich food culture as Spain.

- I am extreamley excited about this unique opportunity to give both locals and international guests the opportunity to enjoy Spanish food just as it is served back home", says Marc.
